Welcome to Gulf Harbors Yacht Club
The Gulf Harbors Yacht Club was founded in 1965 as a social organization promoting boating and camaraderie among its members and the yachting community. The beautiful waterfront clubhouse is located at 3926 Marine Parkway and has been enjoyed by its members since 1978.
In addition to social and boating activities, GHYC is a perfect location for weddings, holiday parties and birthday/anniversary parties.
The club supports several community service programs, including our annual high school scholarship program for local area high school students and the Club’s Summer Youth Sailing Program.
The Gulf Harbor Yacht Club Women’s Auxiliary, The Anchorettes, sponsor an annual fashion show and part of the proceeds go to a charity each year.
For over fifty years, the Gulf Harbors Yacht Club has warmly welcomed everyone interested in boating events, dining in a friendly atmosphere, and meeting new friends. Boat ownership is not a requirement for joining GHYC; neither is living in the Gulf Harbors neighborhoods. GHYC welcomes all who would like to meet new friends, enjoy the outstanding view, partake in many different social events, support the community, and enjoy the best food and drinks in the area.
Our Club has also become one of the area’s most sought after locations for those wishing to host an event; be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or social event.
GHYC is located at the west end of Marine Parkway, on the picturesque North Channel, in New Port Richey, FL. With a picture perfect location, and a well-deserved reputation for good food and drink, friends are considered family. Once people come, they rave about what the club has to offer.
Gulf Harbors Yacht Club is a member of the Yachting Club of America. Member club reciprocity is provided for Yachting Club of America members. For additional information, please see the Dock section on the About US page.
GHYC has an IOBG Chapter so we offer reciprocity to all IOBG members. The mission of the International Order of the Blue Gavel is to recognize Past Commodores of the international yachting community and unite them in order to promote the highest ideals of yachting and preserve its customs and traditions through social, educational and humanitarian programs.
